The "Dynamic alarms" settings screen is divided into 3 zones:

1.     The upper left zone contains the "Dynamic alarm filter" which allows the user to search in the available dynamic alarms on the right:

•        Name: filter on the name of the dynamic alarm.

•        Vehicle / trailer: filter on the vehicle / trailer to which a dynamic alarm was sent.

•        Group: filter on the vehicle / trailer groups to which a dynamic alarm was sent.

•        Active: filter on (in)active dynamic alarms (cf. Active flag)

2.     The upper right zone contains the available dynamic alarms.

3.     The zone below contains the details of the selected dynamic alarm in different tab pages. The availability of the tab pages depends on the settings of the selected dynamic alarm.

At the bottom of the page, you will find the buttons Copy, Save, Cancel:

• Press Copy to create a new dynamic alarm starting from a copy of the selected alarm.

• Press Save to save your modifications.

• Press Cancel to cancel your modifications.

Advanced

The Advanced menu at the bottom allows you to import or edit alarm templates.

Note: Alarm templates can only be created, imported and edited by Transics personnel.

General

• Name: Alarm name. Press to add translations for the alarm.
• Description
• Active flag: set a dynamic alarm to active / inactive

Time schedule

Use the time schedule tab page to configure when the selected dynamic alarm should be active.

Select a day from the list and press to set the desired parameters.

GeoZones

Overview of the GeoZones that are included or excluded for the selected dynamic alarm.

Select a GeoZone to display it on the map on the right.

Available options:

• Add

• Edit

• Delete

Add GeoZone

Press to add a new GeoZone to the dynamic alarm:

Settings:

• Radius for new GeoZone in meters

• GeoZone included or excluded from the current dynamic alarm.

• Company POIs: Add an existing company POI.

• Addresses: Add an address by the entering street / number / city / postal code. Next, press Search to display the available addresses in the list of addresses. Use the arrows to add (or remove) an address to (from) the selected addresses on the right.

Edit GeoZone

Press to edit the selected GeoZone.

Delete GeoZone

Press to remove the selected GeoZone.

Conditions

The Conditions tab page displays the alarm conditions configured in the template.

E.g. "Alarm when speed exceeds ..."

Different alarms can be combined.

Vehicles / trailers

Use the Vehicles / trailers tab to (un)assign the alarm to vehicle / trailers. Press Add to add a vehicle / trailer.

Warning

• Alarm to home base

• • Alarm level: Critical / Warning / Information

  • Alarm text: Press to edit the alarm text and its translations.

  • Email forwarding: Press to enter an email address to forward the alarm to and the language in which it is displayed. Multiple email addresses can be entered.

• Alarm to driver

• • Alarm level: Critical / Warning / Information

  • Alarm text: Press to edit the alarm text and its translations.
