IDENTIFICATION

 

This tab page contains all detailed information on the trailer.

 

Parameters

Technical no.:

The technical number is a code that is automatically generated by the software. It is used for assigning data to the correct trailer.

Active:

Deselect the checkbox to deactivate the trailers (trailers cannot be deleted).

Code:

An alphanumerical code for the trailer, used for easy recognition of the trailer in selection lists. The user is free to choose this code, but it must be unique.

License plate:

The trailer's license plate.

External code:

The external code is the identification of the trailer used by external programs.

Tracer ID:

TX-MAGELLAN or other third-party devices can also be managed in TX-CONNECT.

Use the PREFIX (MGX), followed by the content of the IMEI column in the TX-CONNECT ATM portal:

Autofilter:

Optional - The text in this field can be used for selection purposes throughout the software. Example: When selecting Autofilter = Refrigeration, all trailers with the text "Refrigeration" in the "Autofilter" field will be selected. This field can be linked to the group to which the trailer belongs.

(Sub)groups:

(Sub)group(s) to which the trailer belongs.

 

Note: When adding the new vehicle / trailer / driver / POI to a (sub)group you are tracking (cf. Settings > Management > Groups), it will be automatically tracked by the current user. As a result, you will not need to separately add it via “Who tracks what”.

When does the trailer need its next maintenance?

Category:

For which type of transport is the trailer used? This setting defines the displayed icon on the map.

VIN number:

This is the Vehicle Identification Number or chassis number of the trailer.

Trailer recognition:

Insert the ID from the transmitter (TX-WTR/TX-WDL) on the trailer.

 

Important:

  • For TX-MAX on-board computers, use the last 6 digits of the ID and add '00' in front.

  • For TX-SKY on-board computers, only use the last 6 digits of the ID.

Example:

  • ID on transmitter: *ETTRS-SA502066*

  • For TX-MAX OBC: ID in Trailer recognition field: 00502066

  • For TX-SKY OBC: ID in Trailer recognition field: 502066

Total axle load:

Alarm setting on total axle load (Only supported by TX-TRAILERGUARD cf. screenshot below) (cf. Sensors tab page).

Speed alarm:

Alarm setting on maximum trailer speed (Only supported by TX-TRAILERGUARD cf. screenshot below) (cf. Sensors tab page).

Tyre pressure:

Alarm setting on allowed tyre pressure range (Only supported by TX-TRAILERGUARD cf. screenshot below) (cf. Sensors tab page).

Note: Unit of tyre pressure depends on a setting. Available units: bar, psi and Kpa.

Extra information on the vehicle.
