RIGHTS PROFILES |
Transport companies can assign a profile to a user of their own fleet. It is possible to create this profile in the module Settings > Profiles > Rights profiles. Here you can grant specific rights to a profile by ticking the checkboxes in the available list. Afterwards, the created profile can be assigned to a user in Settings > Management > Users.
VISUALIZATION |
The window is divided into two zones. The upper part of the screen contains the "User profile name". The lower part contains the "Profile details". At the bottom of the screen you can find the buttons New, Save and Reset.
When you click on a module in TX-CONNECT for which you don't have the necessary rights, the following message will appear:
Note:
After every version update, manually created profiles need to be checked as new rights might be involved.
There are three default profiles
Administrator
An Administrator has all rights.
User
A User has all rights, except for the "Reporting" module, "Edit trip data" in the follow-up screens and the "Settings" module. However, a User does have access to the management screens for POIs, GeoFencing and Predefined texts, as well as the Driver identification tool under "Settings".
Visitor
A Visitor only has rights to the "Map" and the "Vehicle follow-up".
Keep in mind that certain functionalities are spread over different modules.
Map
GeoFencing alarms are part of the "Mailbox" right, not the "GeoFencing" right. Therefore it will not be possible for the user to treat GeoFencing alarms from the map when he has no modification right for the "Mailbox".
Vehicle Follow-up
If the user has no rights on the "Mailbox", the contents of the "Alarms" and "Messages" tab pages will not be available.
If the user has no rights on the "Map", he will be unable to use the buttons Show position of this vehicle on map, Show route on map ("Status & Position" tab page) or Show activity on map ("Service times" tab page).
The Request position button (Real-time information) remains available at all times, as this is a system message.
Service times are part of Vehicle follow-up, not the Saldo viewer.
Driver Follow-up
The "Fuel consumption" tab page and the Consumption report are part of the "ECO driving" right, not the "Driver Follow-up" right.
Service times are part of the Driver follow-up, not the Saldo viewer
In the Mailbox, the rights are split up:
Access - Read-out: only open the mailbox, no rights to send or treat messages
Modification: right to treat messages
Add: right to send messages
4. Rights in TOS are not automatically transferred to TX-CONNECT, so the Administrator may have to adapt the rights for every user. Keep in mind that TOS-synchronized users will get the "User" profile.
