Map provider PTV and its partner Transport & Logistiek Nederland (TLN) have developed a standardised product to obtain a uniform route and cost calculation based on travelled kilometres, in order to avoid any discussion on this subject.

To determine what distances should be used, the speed and parameters of the vehicles are set in advance. By doing so, every user obtains the same results. The Route calculation window contains 3 TLN vehicle profiles:
